Great Brickhill Heritage Site
Our Heritage site has been improved with several innovative additions
– it is free to all Residents
The Great Brickhill Heritage Project website has been refreshed, with new and improved ways to explore the history of the village and to share local knowledge.
New material includes a Leighton Buzzard Observer parish news archive, Virtual Tour material, improved member guidance, and new display tools for sharing village material more easily, including in Celia’s Café and to your own Smart Phone or TV screen!
A new Historic Walks section has been released for you to try out and appraise. Residents and other Members are invited to try the ‘walk’ pages, suggest corrections, and add memories, photographs and local knowledge. The walks should be treated as ‘evolving’ rather than a finished guidebook.
The project now allows content editing to selected pages so that members can contribute their own information to the site, including photos or diagrams. Again, this process is at the early stages so that we can get feedback from you.
