– these are references to publications made on the site
No Heritage Project can stand on memory alone.
GBHP is supported by a growing collection of books, documents, maps, contemporary records, family research and other sources which help us check dates, identify people and places, compare accounts and understand the wider context of Great Brickhill’s history.
Some of these are long-established published works. Others are local records or more recent contributions by residents and researchers.
Where possible, individual GBHP articles identify the evidence on which they rely. This References collection brings many of those sources together in one place.
It is intended both as a record of the material behind the site and as a starting point for anyone who wants to research a subject further.
